While searching online for self help audio solutions (hypnosis being the focus), I stumbled across the term “brainwave entrainment.” It seemed to have a huge buzz about it, and my curiosity was piqued. Looking further into this was probably the best thing I could have done for myself.

That’s great and all, but seriously what is brainwave entrainment? Well, brainwave patterns are “sweeping” electrical charges, produced by the brain, that create rhythms. Commonly grouped into four general patterns (Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta), brainwave patterns are associated with various states of mind. And the word “entrainment” is borrowed from physics and basically refers to the tendency for two vibrating bodies to lock into phase so that they vibrate in harmony. So brainwave entrainment, by reason of deduction, is getting your brainwaves to vibrate in harmony with another vibrating body.

Sound a little confusing? Ok, here’s an example. Imagine two tuning forks side by side:

See, Two Tuning Forks!

See, Two Tuning Forks!

If you strike the one on the right hold it close to the one on the left, they will begin to vibrate at the same frequency. And essentially, this is what brainwave entrainment sets out to do. Listening to a certain set of frequencies for an extended period of time will enable your brain to synchronize with the frequency, thus changing your brainwave pattern.

Ok, this still sounds like a sci-fi fiction story. What’s the point?

As I briefly mentioned, each grouping of brainwave patterns (Beta, Alpha, Theta, Delta) are associated with certain states of mind. Alpha waves, for instance, are associated with increased creativity, relaxation, and meditation. So you know those people that always seem to be calm no matter what’s going on? They’re brain produces a decent amount of Alpha brainwaves as a default.

In the next article, I’ll talk more about the varieties of brainwaves and how they affect our behaviors.

So we’ve mentioned that our brains produce sweeping electrical charges, known as brainwave patterns. And that altering those patterns can affect our life. But what does all that really mean, and how is this related to self help audio?

First off, there are 4 categories of brainwave activity: Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta. All brainwave patterns are measured by their frequencies or speed in a measurement known as Hertz(HZ). Now this isn’t a scientific blog, so I’m not going into the super technicals on that, but just know this is how brainwave patterns are described.

There can be some discrepancies on the absolute ranges for each category, but then again this is why these are general categories. So don’t be surprised if you find ranges slightly off from what I’m giving here.

Beta Waves, (around 12HZ to 30 Hz), are associated with regular waking consciousness. When you are active in a conversation, general work, or reading a book, your brain is operating with a strong amount of beta waves.

Alpha Waves (8Hz to 12Hz) are produced when you are relaxed. They’re generally grouped with enhanced creativity and accelerated learning. Those that practice light meditation are generally in an alpha state of mind.

Theta Waves (4Hz to 8Hz) generally occur when you’re in a “zoned out” place. Have you ever been driving a long distance and been startled to realize how much time has passed without you actively paying attention? You were in Theta mode. Theta waves are associated with deep meditation and relaxation.

Delta Waves (0.5Hz to 4Hz) are produced when you are in a state of unconsciousness and deep sleep. When you conk out into a deep dreamless sleep, you’ve found yourself in delta.

So how does this tie into self help audio? Well remember what we learned about brainwave entrainment; the brain is stimulated with a certain frequency or set of frequencies, our brainwaves will align with these frequencies. So let’s say you have a huge problem getting to sleep. Well, if you exposed yourself to a set of delta waves for around 30 minutes, your brain would sync up with those frequencies, produce delta brainwaves, and you’re off to sleep in no time.

Are you beginning to see the amazing power behind all this? Good. In the next article, I’ll discuss my absolute favorite brainwave entrainment audios.

So here it is, the only system that I have used to change my entire life: Quantum Mind Power. Here’s the scoop on it:

Quantum Mind Power uses “the morry method,” a new brainwave entrainment technology originated by Quantum Mind Power founder Morry Zelcovitch.

Having been in the field of brainwave entrainment for over 15 years, Morry is one of the few people certified as a “Brainwave Entrainment Enginner/Specialist.” He tried every brainwave entrainment product he could get a hold of, but saw very little success. He found their effects temporary and altogether ineffective. So he decided to create a product that would produce permanent, real results. And thus, Quantum Mind Power was born.

The difference between Quantum Mind Power and any other brainwave technology on the market comes down to the brainwave simulation frequencies. Almost every other brainwave entrainment product uses a simulation pattern known as binaural beats. Two tones are played, one in each ear, and the brain tried to combine those tones upon hearing them. A “beat” is established, and that beat is what trains your brainwave.

The Morry Method, on the other hand, uses monaural and isochronic tones, which are much more powerful and effective at encouraging the brainwave response that is responsible for entrainment.

So here’s a visual:  here’s what the beat pattern looks like for binaural beats:

Not very clear beats...

Not very clear beats...

And here’s the pattern of isochronic tones:

Now those are the beats were looking for!

Now those are the beats we're looking for!

The actual “beats” are seen much stronger on isochronic tones than binaural beats. If it’s the beats that create the change, it seems like a no-brainer on which one to go for, right?

Quantum Mind Power is the most superior product on the market, and damn near the only one using the Morry Method. It’s the most effect brainwave entrainment product you can find.

I saw amazing results only after a week. Suddenly I found myself more productive than I could remember. I got ahead on projects, got things straightened out on my calendar and to do list, and even managed to organize my computer. (Trust me, that’s a big deal :) ) I can’t speak enough about the amazing things this product can do.
